Revisiting Eddie Murphy in Bowfinger... This shyt was hilarious

I think it came out at a super-saturated point and Eddie had been making movies for a decade and a half no one was really checking for it.
Looking at it now it's genius.

It's funny because that and Mystery Men came out at about the same time and me and wife ended up making it a double and seeing both.

True, he was releasing 1/2 movies throughout the 90s and 2000s. But 1999 had Bowfinger, and arguably his best movie (for me atleast), Life

Life is another one that was appreciated more afterwards. I just think people weren't ready for these.
