Only NY cats we listened to back then was Hov & Dipset then 50 came and exploded everywhere with In The Club

Y'all never heard of 50 until In the Club? Did y'all not read hip-hop magazines? There were articles in XXL, The Source and Blaze about the song. They did a reaction piece to the song in Blaze. And he kept getting into ish after that, so he was all over the (hip-hop) news...Life on the Line video got underground station airplay. AND then you got the return jabs from artists. And Sticky dissed him on Jackin for Beats '99.
