i used to play ball at a high level and i still watch a lot..the yanks are surprisingly resilient without all these big name players. jeter will be back in a few weeks. pineda will hold it down. i see them getting one of the 2 al wild cards. this will be an interesting trade deadline

anyways back on topic. I really haven't followed it. has pineda even pitched this year? for that matter, is montero even playing? I haven't heard a thing about either of these two.
