You're right. The 1990 draft was brutal too.

Gary Payton was the only really good player out that draft.

Nah, 1990 wasn't bad imo.

First of all, payton's career alone trumps the 2000 draft.

None of the top 5 were busts (payton, coleman, Rauf, dennis Scott and Kendall gill).

Tyrone hill, Jayson shotgun Williams, terry mills, vaught, Dee brown were other first rounders with at least some success as role players. Eldon Campbell was the last pick in the first and he had a long, good career.

Kukoc, Antonio Davis and Ceballos were all 2nd round picks.

Bimbo coles and buechler were 2nd rounders as well and weren't terrible players.

1990 was far better than 2000

He lacks confidence, it was already low before KG got there. Let's hope KG didn't shatter it all. Being number 1 in non-consensus draft weighs heavy.

The Cavs were probably the worst possible team for him to go to. Mike Brown :scust: Going number one was a curse for him.

Not only that, but he suffers from asthma, which gives him conditioning and weight problems.

He was a young gawd at UNLV though :blessed:

Was he that bad he couldn't get starter minutes this season? The whole season for the TWolves was done anyway, they were just tanking.

He was injured for a large part of the season, but even when he was healthy he wasn't getting minutes over fukking Robbie Hummel :scust:

This is the only draft that had a negative cumulative WAR (-17.3)...so it actually made the talent pool worse. :russ:
