Finally able to rewatch the fight, and that Spence, that some feel was compromised either by being drained or layoff (which are valid but his fault, esp the layoff) and others thinking brain issue (that boy def got some issues, but Bud still wouldve kicked his ass IMO)
Spence was throwing some heat. Bud (and Shakur) are MASTERS of distance, and a lot of those shots were grazing Crawfords nose, and would've 110% landed on any other fighter outside of a damn 122er...
Then, in the 2nd, 3rd and even later, Spence was throwing some vicious body shots (albeit in desperation later) but again, Buds defense and strategy was so on point, and then after a few, he was ghost.
Lastly, and what impressed me the most (which is why I gotta watch fights like 3 times to get the real feel for whats happening - too in the moment when its happening) is how Spence was getting his ass kicked but he's def a damn Terminator - he kept coming, kept coming, kept throwing from angles, body shots, etc (in contrast, a REAL stuck in the mud come forward average guy, Villa, did not look anywhere close to this and was still landing on Boots)
I just don't think anyone else at 147 has the pop to stop that guy, and I mainly am typing this to say...I have changed my mind from Saturday, Boots doesnt beat this Spence or the "old" Spence. I don't believe in his power that much, I don't think hes weak but I don't think he's super powerful either.
Bud is out of the equation for Boots, but hey, people gonna talk till that boy gets hurt.
