RFK has no medical background, expertise or experience. why anyone would listen to him when it comes to matters of health is beyond me. this guy is clueless. I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years in a non-clinical capacity, and even I'm more qualified than he is.

What I don't want to do is for the media to make RFK Jr the face of Holistic medicine. You can still attack RFK Jr without disrespecting Non-Western Medicinal practices
Don't know specifically about the Keto diet curing those diseases. But it is 100% true that reducing sugar and other carbs in your diet works very well in helping your immune system, removing toxins and increasing the function of your liver/gallbladder/pancreas, and reduces problems related to the the brain

Keto does have benefits, specifically around carb/sugar management which may impact those with lets say diabetes

Keto or nutritional ketosis is known to be a mood stabilizer as the brain functions better on ketones for energy vs carbohydrates. Im not sure for mental illnesses. In fact Johns Hopkins has a full on medical journal of over 50 years of clinical, peer reviewed studies on ketosis.
It's plausible but I haven't read anything about mental health benefits of ketosis other than clear thinking and focused thinking.

There is a link between high sugar consumption and schizophrenia and there are case studies that have shown a ketogenic diet to have aided in long-term remission of schizophrenia in patients. But clinical trials are yet to definitively prove that to be the case. So his claims are largely erroneous (as are most of his claims). Dude is a crackpot and shouldn’t have the platform he does. He epitomizes this kakistocracy fukkery we live under.
