I haven't watched a lot of Mid-South Wrestling but that blade job was deep. That had to leave a mark on Dibiase.

The crazy thing is DiBiase was such a big heel for years. All coming to a climax with the famous multi gimmick match against Duggan. And a couple of months later he has this match with Flair, that angle happens and Ted is a bonafide top baby face

The angle, turn and match are pretty unique, that's why it was so special. But yeah, a lot of Mid-South brawls had blood Feeling old as fukk realizing I watched that compilation set like a decade ago

dibiase was an aacrual consummate pro and high quality worker.
when not saddled by wwf low workrate gimmickry.
i wanna say,...he even carried hogun early on.
before hogun was the benefactor of being on The set of rocky. Getting drawing rub.
for being the white guy opposite of mr t.. Who on screen looked dominate to rocky in an on screen work.
