Wouldn't surprise me. I used to travel to Sarajevo yearly for the film festival there, which was ironically started during this war, as everybody was hiding underground.

The town is surrounded by incredibly high hills that encircle it.

I talked to people who, when they came up above ground, had to zig zag run. But that was always a last resort, as it was so dangerous.

The crazy thing is, when the attacking army pulled out, they left mines hidden up there so they have taped off areas that warn you there maybe unexploded mines, 1000s of them are apparently planted up there.

Me and friends went there, and can you guess what some of these idiots went and did? went up in the hills and crossed over the red tape area, found an old army base up in the hills overlooking the city where retreating soldiers had dumped their uniforms and guns. The place could have been booby trapped.



But Sarajevo is a great place the people are cool.
