The Westwood Village location is under partial ownership of Sherman, who says he is excited to bring a brand he loves to Seattle.

“I have been a Wingstop customer since I was a kid growing up in Los Angeles; that’s when I discovered the brand and the difference that made-to-order quality brings to the wing experience,” Sherman said. “Once the brand expanded into the Seattle market, I knew I would eventually join the team. I look forward to sharing my love of Wingstop with all the fans in Western Washington.“

Wing Stop operates more than 900 locations with a large range of flavors. Some fan favorites include mango habanero, lemon pepper, garlic parmesan and original hot.

The Seattle Times reports Sherman’s partner is Greg Southern. He owns other branches of Wingstop, some with former Seahawk Sidney Rice.

Rice’s first two Wingstops opened in Kent and Tacoma.

The new location will be celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, August 27. Wing Stop says while they cannot guarantee his presence, Sherman may stop by sometime during the weekend celebrations.
