There's a lot of fronting on Rozay on this board and in general he's one of the most underappreciated spitters ever. I'm not sure why this is, because his resume is excellent:

•he is an excellent storyteller on wax, there's true poetry to his lyricism;

•he has bars for junkies for that;

•his production in his prime was the best in the game, and his voice nailed beats perfectly;

•cinematic albums because he was an elite songwriter;

•multiple classic albums and tapes;

•put on the careers of Wale and Meek...

Ross has 3 classics under his belt: Deeper Than Rap, The Albert Anastasia EP, and Teflon Don. If someone wants to hear Ross at his absolute apex play those 3, and they were all released successively. He's also got some near-misses, almost classics, in Rich Forever, God Forgives I Don't, and Mastermind...

In his artistic prime from 2009-2014 he was dropping some of the best music in rap, and was clearly one of the biggest names in the sport. Ross has a case as one if the 25 greatest rappers ever, I'd easily argue that he is, and I see way too many names that get pushed ahead of him on a historical scale who are not better than he artistically...

It's similar to Game. They get knocked for extracurricular activity. But when you start comparing the actual catalog against dudes that's considered untouchable, shyt get uncomfortable
