Ross has kinda already beaten the odds. This guy was borderline trash when he first dropped. I think he's had some off moments, but he's made a lot of quality music. He definitely turned a corner with Deeper Than Rap. If he can stay away from the redundant production and formulaic stuff, he'll be around for awhile.
