For real man, this guy
@MusicConsulting seems like he's in love with dude. It's always either 14 year old fanboys or part of the e-street team.
Not in love, I respect artists who bring content & energy whether I can rock w/ it or not. I don't like everything MMG has done but the track record speaks for itself who respects Ross, it is all across the game board. If I was part of the street team I wouldn't tell you that I think majority of Self Made compilations are generic & production is trying to capture another BMF. I've never really liked Self Made. I don't rock w/ Port of Miami,
But we all have different artists we gravitate toward. I could've named my member name after a landmark Rawkus album but I didn't. Much Respect to that pioneer though w/ Rawkus, Def Jux and now Fools Gold/Mass Appeal. I never would've thought a underground cult icon would be on coachella stage w/ Killer Mike, that's quite the mark of a artist w/ standing.
i give daps to anyone who is out there & putting projects out on a regular basis when so many have decided to not take that road. Because I imagine in the days of the internet it is easy to take shots & just dismiss people's contributions as meaningless when we know that's a convenient lie.
Artists/Labels like Kanye/GOOD, Neptunes/Star Trak,Pusha/Clipse,Aceyalone,El-P/Co/Flo,Ross/MMG,Del/HieroOutkast/Dungeon Fam,DITC,Bootcamp,TDE,Living Legends,Organized,Soulquarians,Face,Juice Crew,Big/Bad Boy,Dre/Aftermath,BombSquad,Ruthless,G Unit,Cash Money,No Limit,Dilla,Deathrow,Pac/Outlaws, You can tell by the labels that signed them or were stamped w/ some time ago, these artists are vastly important
I see all of the following as equals & admire their impact on the world. If I was a MMG street teamer, I wouldn't say that I hope
Kanan is received well and a new generation is introduced to Hip Hop & the culture. I don't just raise one flag, I raise it for the culture.
