Exactly...skipped the trap songs last time he put a project out...its not even the co thing...he just has more substance than the act he puts on...i think he limits himself alot because he has to maintain the character...trap records cool here and there...but when u grow past it musically and the listener knows that u have grown...it creates a disconnect...

Yeah, but honestly he's been significantly better on his records with substance. I understand the value in duality but me personally I believe he taps into something special when he's on a soulful beat rapping about something inspiring.

i totally agree, but he hasnt made one of these records in a while. these days a trap Ross record is like a fine spice or strong seasoning, really good sparringly and in the right amounts. if this were 2011-2012 id hit it with the but this is somewhat refreshing now

when he's on the Luxury Ross and Empowerment Ross regimen he's no lie one of my Top 5 MCs.

he probably has the best and most consistent, high quality beat selection out of any rapper ever - considering the number of albums he's done.
