Oh really? Explain how Riley Cooper's thing is different than Sterling
The difference is in the level of hate.
Donald Sterling held racist views of the world and implemented discriminatory business practices. Deadskins fans and cleveland indian fans uphold racial stereotypes.
Don't expect much to change because:
1) both those fan bases have 0 integrity unless they're personally offended
2) 5.2 million - The nation's population of American Indians and Alaska Natives, including those of more than one race. They made up about 2 percent of the total population in 2012. Of this total, about 49 percent were American Indian and Alaska Native only, and about 51 percent were American Indian and Alaska Native in combination with one or more other races.

One is an athlete that had this as a single issue and he was suspended by the team
The other is a franchise owner who has had a history of discriminatory actions against African-Americans.
Im not looking at history. I'm looking at this one incident. Because if we're gonna use history then you have to bring in his 2.. not 1... 2 NAACP achievement awards and thats not a road i'm willing to go down. If the NAACP was handing out awards I'm sure he cut them some checkswe have to assumet that these checks were used to further fund the projects and efforts of the NAACP which is supposed to be mainly about african americans. So now we're not going down that path.
Face it doggy. An NFL owner does this and no way he gets a lifetime ban.

If Sterling just had a short audio clip of him saying "I don't want you to bring black people to the games". With nothing else on his record that showed evidence of discriminating against blacks Then I doubt he would get a lifetime ban, and at most, would likely be ONLY indefinitely suspended.
Coopr just had a short clip of him saying he would "knock that n*gger out" and there was nothing else known about the man's personality, intentions, and other incidents involving blacks so the level of discipline will differ.
Lastly, the NFL is giving 15 yard penalties and possible fines on ANYONE saying the word during the game.
When is the NBA going to crack down on using the n-word during the game on everyone including players???

As a black man I dont use the word "n!gga" , myself but most of these clones say it's their "term of endearment" and it's black people's god given right to use it exclusively.
