My hood's been gentrified by middle class cacs in new builds but I still remove my ear buds when I get 10 minutes from my house.
Need to change my sneakers too, they're loud enough that they give away my position quite easily.

I say all this, but I've never been robbed even though my hood is/was one of the most dangerous in my city.

That’s why every city I travel to for work I go to the most expensive or safest area. I stayed in the hood once and these neggas were fukking plotting to move on me. The security guard told me to move out ASAP and I didn’t waste 1 second. It’s sad though. I bet you they wouldn’t plan on robbing a white guy that just moved there
