I don't think people appreciate just how amazing it was for him to regain the heavyweight title (back when it actually meant something) at age 45, 20 years after he lost it, and 7 years into a comeback that followed a 10 year retirement ...


He wore the same trunks against Moorer in 1994 that he wore in Zaire in 1974

Wow. Imma have to call my grandad.

My grandad was in St. Lucia. My grandad is an avid bike rider. Rides all over the world.

He got lost riding his bike in St. Lucia. He came across this farm and a huge house. He decided to ring the doorbell and ask for directions back to the mainland.

The house belonged to George Foreman and his wife. They grew bananas on the farm and imported them to the US. George invited him in for drinks and they became friends. My grandad would go to St. Lucia every summer and hang out with George Foreman
