Felt like losing an older brother. We basically grew up with Malcolm. He had a podcast that was pretty nice. He was awesome in The Resident, 911, etc. This one hit me like Chadwick and James Earl Jones. Rest in Peace brother.

Of course this isn't the case for everyone, but My oldest kid can swim, that's only because he thought the shallow part where we were was Boring and took it upon himself to teach himself

Then what could be the reason for so many black Folks drowning? It can't just be aren't exposed to pools and swimming areas... There have been a few black celebrities who have drowned in recent years, there's nothing BUT pools and opportunities to learn to swim in California.

There's a difference between being exposed to pools/swimming areas and knowing how to actually swim (especially in the ocean with tides and currents). Black folks aren't taught like that from a young age.

When I was living in South Africa, a far greater proportion of Black kids I saw knew how to swim (in comparison to the U.S.).
