That was a huge part of his life and some of those guys will forever be considered his brothers. In Brooklyn especially those ties run deeper than family ties for some, because a lot of the people involved grew up with each other from the sandbox and many are actually related. Just because you've changed or advanced mentally doesn't mean you wash away your past or that some of the things you know deem ignorant doesn't hold sentimental value.
Mook was a good guy and my family has known his family for a very long time. Well liked and well respected and it is foul that he got killed in the Plaza. Home is usually the only place you feel safe without your gun and it is a tragedy to get killed in a place you should feel safe in.
He was on IG live at a dice game, and his last IG post is at the dice game. Then a few minutes later word goes out that he was shot 5 times at the dice game.
I weep for my brothers because it's so hard to make it to 40 when you're from the ghetto. And if you're tough and people know it, simple arguments will always lead to gunplay because cowards are scared of what you will do so they rather get you first.
Another casualty of a dice game.

You brothers be safe out here.
