damn. RIP Paul Mooney. I was fortunate enough to see him live and get a pic with him a few years back.

For some reason when I think of Paul Mooney I often think about the first documentary I seen on him and Sandra Bernhardt was going on and on about how important he was and how real he was and I thought it was odd coming from her but if she can see the real then my black ass better at least know what's up.

My brother was a huge fan so eventually I got to know his work, this has been a tough week, my family lost a patriarch a couple days ago, and now this. I just hope it doesn't come in 3s like they say...
