The reality is, once you shoot at somebody, you lose the right to dictate how many times they can return fire and shooting at trigger happy cops is a damn near suicide. If they found the gun at the scene, it will be tested to see if it was indeed fired as they claimed, and at that point, what do you really expect to happen?

Even if you disbelieve the cops, Just look how fast this story changed. it went from an unarmed breh just minded his business delivering food and getting killed for a "minor traffic violation" to a breh leading police on a high speed chase, wearing a ski mask and getting shot after shooting at police." Is there another video showing Walker shooting at them? Nothing they have shown shows anything other than him running away. And the POV of the officer in the car shooting, he emptied all of his rounds like it was target practice even after they said cease fire.
