you're not a star if its the internet is outdated rhetoric

tell that to the catch me outside bytch who just signed a 7 figure deal for a reality tv show... because of the internet

or to king bach, spoken reasons and all them vine nikkas who starring in major motion pictures...because of the internet

or to them rae sremmurd nikkas who landed their first number 1 song because of a viral video of standing still... guess where that video came from?

its 2017.. the internet dominates this culture. catch up guys. It's hilarious to me how older guys look at the internet like its some niche thing a small percentage of people do. nikka, EVERYONE IS ON THE INTERNET. Don't be naive. the WWE network itself solely exists because of the fukkin internet.

PPV buyrates weren't low because people weren't interested in the product. We were/are still watching regularly... but guess where we're watching them?

THE

fukkING

INTERNET
They are wrong about that small part of what they said but theyre dead right about being famous in ROH or even Tna...like with who? The absolute most hardcore of fans...thats not famous. Aj styles was respected and known....now he is relatively famous....cm punk was at the same level or higher than joe during those roh days, he was a nobody when he got to wwe....the idea that fame "on the indies" is a big deal to wwe, just is wrong. The ability to get over can translate but the young bucks are like 3x as famous now as joe ever was then, and they gotta prove themselves when they get to the wwe.

Wwe is the major leagues, there is just no way to argue it when it comes to exposure.

Problem is that the E always gets these dudes when they are like 40 and on fumes.

E sat in denial, claiming they didn't want or need any of these ROH/TNA guys when they could wrestling everyday. Get AJ's, Joe's, Danielson's etc when they are bubblin, not years later.

I cant argue that, obviously the WWE is the WWE

but I feel like its just silly to dismiss the power of the net.

If Chris Hero shows up on RAW next week, he's getting a reaction. If fukking some random development dude like Tino Sabbatelli shows up, he's a braun stroman jobber. There's a reason for that.

These internet fans aren't just on the internet..

and as far as Joe, at the time he was brought into TNA, I was hyped just off my familiarity with his name. I had never seen him wrestle, had never seen a single ring of honor show.. all I knew was the name from news sites and that alone had me excited.

Again, clearly the WWE is on an entirely different level. but a buzz is a buzz. nikkas will fare better with a little name recognition than none at all in my opinion.

Agreed. They are out of touch with that mentality. I think HHH gets it honestly.

THIS!

All these guys, AJ ESPECIALLY, should have been signed like 5 years ago. How long can AJ go at this level when he's already approaching 40 fast.

Those dudes were straight up junkies during that period. You can't take much of anything they said to have much if any credibility during that time.
