I am an old head who grew up in the 80s. Back in the day kids were being kids and doing dumbshyt like getting into random fist fights, vandalizing, throwing rocks, breaking windows, etc. That's what the dumb kids used to do for clout. That whole stick up game was for the real thugs going out hitting licks from your corner doughboy or someone with money. Nowadays the dumbshyt evolved to everyone packing a nine and robbing a random white boy who might have at most 100 on his pocket, throwing your life away for instagram clout. Maybe guns were easily accessible back then but the OGs in the hood would g check all these kids before they went and did anything crazy. There really ain't no structure to the game no more.

I don't know bro, my parents came up in the 80s as gangbangers in the middle if The War Years in California, and guns were everywhere. There was more killing going on in '89 than there is in '19, so there's no way it can be true that cats weren't off the chain then...
