I Feel Like This Thread Wont Do Well Seeing How Most People Are Leary To PAY Others To Help Them With Their Finances But I’m Taking A Shot To See If The Coli Has Any Opinions On These Services

Me And My Wife Are In A Good Place In Life, We Can Realistically Pay Off Our Property In 8-10 Years, Have 6 Months Of Emergency Funds, 401s Are Funded, Have A College Fund For My Son And Life Insurance, $0 Debt Besides The Property

After All The Important Stuff (And Some Important Fun Stuff) Is Out The Way We Still Have A Decent Amount We Can Commit To An Investment Revenue Of Some Sort

I’m Thinking An Index Fund Or A Mutual Fund

I Don’t Trust Myself Blindly Buying A Bunch Of Random Stocks On Robinhood As An Investment

Does Anyone Here Have Experience Working With/Using A Robo Advisor OR A Real Life Financial Advisor? I’m Looking At Something I Can Cash In On With A Nice Return In A 5-10 Year Window

It sounds like you would do good to speak with a professional who can help understand your goals.

  1. Who are you or wife's retirement accounts with (through work)? That would be a good place to start, you may even get free consultations with an advisor through the work plan.
  2. Popular brokerages: Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, Vanguard, Charles Schwab. (I have accounts with Fidelity and TD) . A quick google search will help you narrow down the better choice for you. They all have low fees and you can handle everything online. But if you want to call and speak with someone those 4 will also have that available.
  3. On the robo advisor side M1 Finance and Betterment are two of the more popular choices if you decide to go that route. Just make sure you do your research before you make a decision.

dont pay anyone to handle your money, the internet made that obsolete

5-10 years? just open an account with fidelity and invest in FXAIX, FSPGX, and FNCMX every month

Betterment Is Pretty Damn Cheap Though, You Dont Think The Work They Do Is Worth The $15-40 Fee For A Year?
