Is anyone surprised? This was always the intent of these robots... to replace human workers and essentially monitor humanity and keep them under tabs for the controllers. These kind of robots are going to be used to monitor neighborhoods, especially urban areas.
The new digital currency is also going to be used for heavy control since they'll have records of your spending at all times, can monitor it with AI and completely shut you out of the economic system, which is harder to do if you have cash, which is anonymous, vs just banning you from the digital network.
