I actually prefer Rock's older style. Much more demonstrative and aggressive in his voice and cadence. But lyrically, he wasn't using the double and triple entendres and wordplay that he developed later in his career in the late 2000s and such.

His 90s style was more raw emceeing. His pen game is way nicer now and he has way more versatility in the flows and deliveries he uses. But some of the hypeness he had as a youngin is gone. I mean, breh is damn near 50 now, so it's understandable. :manny:
Remember he was the best outta the BCC at one point

Remember when these soggy ass nikkas tried to play Meth when Budden disrespected him? :snoop:

And yeah....this song did NOT need Ron Browz. :camby:
Meh, everyone overrated to the Method Man ranking discussion that Joey did. Everyone does that, especially during the 90’s when every group of friends always debated something.

on some rap shyt Cut you loose is a ill verse and kept it hip hop.

Ron Browz was terrible on this , the beat is wack too.

Rock would benefit tremendously from a project where he teamed up with a single producer like Method Man, O.C., Ras Kass, Gibbs, Nas, Rza, etc have all done in recent years.

He still has name recognition. I can't imagine there aren't producers who wouldn't wanna get down with an MC and song maker of his caliber.
