Hip Hop = A culture, a way of life. (primarily 4 elements - Graf, DJing, MCing, Breakdancing)
Rap is a mixture of DJing and MCing.

There's a difference though. Music vs Hip hop (rap)
a lot of the garbage coming out of a shyt ton of regions is MUSIC...not rap.
