i'm surprised they don't have a prison in the game... it'd be cool to have some sort of prison break type storyline where you have to get in to kill somebody and then escape

There is a prison in GTA 5, its next to the highway in the desert portion of the map.

There is no car to steal in jail. GTA, grand theft auto.
You are thinking of something along the lines of SIMS in jail. Boring monotonous activity. Trying to build up who knows... ramen noodles cache in a hidden nook.

One thing I didn't like about Gta 5 is how they have a huge prison with guards and shyt but none of the missions dealt with it. I was hoping one of the heists would be to break someone out of there
