I once read a book called “The Art of the Argument” (ironically written by someone who was clearly a Republican) and one of the principles was refusing to engage with people who don’t want to have an honest and logic driven argument, essentially ostracizing them until they are willing to engage civilly.15 minutes in and this Desert CAC couldn’t acknowledge the biases in housing and I’m out. If we cant deal with facts and agree they are facts, not opinions, there’s no discussion to be had at that point.
Despite his clear bias it was a decent book and I’m leaning more and more to the approach. I can’t stand disingenuous debaters.
