Can someone explain why drank in particular makes someone gain weight? Is it just a side effect of the medication? Or is it b/c it's an opioid it slows one down thus making the user less active? Or does it nullify the receptors in the brain that tell the body it is "full' like weed and alcohol?

I've tried it before, not really my thing, but I'm not a big fan of downers at all...I don't like to feel like I'm sleep unless I'm in bed.
