If you know Rolling Stone and the type of audience they supply you wouldn't be surprised or even bothered by this.

Of course their going to use those 4 guys for obvious reasons. Pac and Big because they're the go to "G.O.A.T" candidates. Jay-Z because he's "Hip-Hop's version of Elvis and the Beatles" and Eminem, because he's the white guy who made great music in a black genre.

Even though I consider Em one of the best rappers ever I personally wouldn't use him as a representative for a list of the best rap SONGS ever though.

I don't hate Em but "My Name Is" in the top 50? There's been 50 songs THIS YEAR that >>> that trash.

Looking at the list it's all singles that made an impact on hip-hop. Considering this song introduced the world to Em, I would assume that's why they chose it.

But the song itself isn't even a top 50 Eminem song, let alone top 50 hip hop song ever.

Rolling Stone doesn't represent Hip Hop, with that said they got it right cause look who's wearing the CROWN out of all four, lol. Also SMH @ them forcing Em on the cover. I knew the "Media" would force him in the Top 5 off his impact and accomplishments even though he doesn't have a Classic seeing "Ready To Die, Me against the World, Reasonable Doubt or ILLMatic".

Fail. Those are albums, this is a list about songs.
