No pac in the top 100? Yeah this is a garbage list, who made it cacs?

Pac's greatest album was Me Against The World. That aint a Top 100 record...

The problem with these lists is it blurs the lines between commercial success, quality, and cultural impact without defining either succinctly. Case in point, the Kanye posts. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is Kany at his most popular, established artist with skin in the game, and actually is a damn good record. Its certainly not one of his two best, so to have it so high altogether is bewildering...

black publications need to make their own list

We don't own any publications that cover overall music culture, so we'd fail putting together a list that isnt black music-centric...

Hell we dont own hip hop, those lists are mostly pasty-generated too...

I'd trust a black-owned Top 500 of all music more than white owned, because in this country we influenced so much of pop music and everyone has taken from us, plus I think our collective ear and taste for music is greater anyway. But we don't have an entity that covers all of music...

i think the absence of jazz, funk and soul (other than marvin gaye) is worse. TPAB being higher than any actual jazz album is inexcusable
