Reigns is good at selling, has a unique presence, is a good worker, and tells compelling stories in the ring. Ambrose is more goofy than a "badass". Let's not even go into promos when Rollins was giving us repetitive, boring promos during his World Title reign and gave us some terrible ones like his infamous "I saw the Pope" promo .

That's exactly it. They did their best numbers when they were catering to the adults. It's ironic, that they are a public company now with PG entertainment, because of the popularity they got from catering to a PG13 audience. I guarantee they would do fine if they went back to edgier content.
