I actually like Roman but he's mistaken here... he's making excuses to protect his ego. Guess he's not creative enough to come up with some shyt to go to cokeboy with, so he thinks the only way to go is to stick to this shyt gameplan?

They've done record business the past few years, even with declining ratings and attendance, because they have so many more revenue streams and sponsors to make up for it. There is no need to go back to PG-13 or TV-14 because they'd lose their big name sponsors, some of which they've been working on getting since the 80s. WWE has put in a tremendous amount of effort to be more mainstream since Benoit, and it has worked even with the smaller audience.

They have weekly ESPN updates, talent hosting the Today Show, Coke and Tide sponsoring them, frequently entering new foreign markets. All that work would go up in smoke if they went back to Attitude Era programming.

Historically, wrestling--like most forms of live entertainment--has been dynamic enough to cater to multiple audiences.

I mean, damn, grown as men and women have always gone to wrestling shows. They're the one's bringing the kids.

It's only kids watching is the same answer Cena gave to the Rock before WM 28 when he went off tangent talking about Hip hop clothes and acting like he was different and not goofy.

By the way, all these guys are in it for the money first and foremost. Why else go to the WWE and get exposure? If somebody tells you anything else, they are not only lying to you, but are lying to themselves.

That's the problem with American entertainment, it isn't entertainment anymore its a business... You cant make money in the entertainment industry in the long run if you aren't entertaining.. Act like you can make money for years after you get out of the business if you don't have a core fanbase from the business if you want to

Be a kids show when the average age of your viewing audience is in their 40's brehs.

EVERYTIIME I hear the this is PG show, its a kids show, its not for "US" to get, Cena works for women and children I smh cause the WWE "universe" has many fans over 30 so why haven't they looked at these numbers and changed accordingly?

Not even talking wrestling skils as much as all the other shyt that makes you a great wrestler. self awareness, psychology, ring skills, bad assness roman has like none of this. he cuts promos and you can tell he doesn't even believe what he's saying.

Reigns is good at selling, has a unique presence, is a good worker, and tells compelling stories in the ring. Ambrose is more goofy than a "badass". Let's not even go into promos when Rollins was giving us repetitive, boring promos during his World Title reign and gave us some terrible ones like his infamous "I saw the Pope" promo .

How do you figure that? He is garbage at selling, has a barely average moveset and the charisma of a door knob.. He took a ass whooping by three grown men and comes out a few minutes later with no visible signs of being hurt or in pain, he aint even limp He couldn't draw sympathy if his life depended on it... All of this its a kids show, and excuses he and the wwe make up for him is another reason he hasn't improved..

I'm not even saying attitude era shyt but just a little more reality based stuff rather than the cartoon they are now

Just because it is on the Network doesn't mean suddenly the sponsors don't matter. They'd still have deals with Coke/Tide/Mattel and are going to tailor their product to not upset them.
