Agreed. I hope Rigz & Mooch are then properly viewed. Mooch is way nicer than I initially thought. The guy is like Freekey Zeekey/ODB but with consistent bars.

sadly i think sounding too much like WSG in the voice will cap him. its not his fault, i dont think he tries to do it, but he sounds like him

I recently checked out Kontraband by Rome Streetz for the first time, great album too.

He sounds nothing like Joey Badass.

Someone else made the Joey comparison to me too. I think just the 90s sound with a NY accent does it for some people

and idk how old you are but plenty of younger people attribute boom bap to Joey badass which is blasphemous although dude is nice and I fukk with him but I’d say they all have similar influences. It’s not like Joey came up with this sound (not saying anyone here is saying that)

Rome reminds me of cormega/big L

anyways Rome was waaaay iller lyrically and his voice is different imo. The content is also different

I loved Death & The Magician, Razor's Edge, Kontraband, Headcrack, and Noise Candy 4. I'm catching up on this one today.

Oh and BTW to everyone comparing Rome to Big L or Joey Badass...I kinda hear it, but he also seems pretty different from them too.

Oh, and I hope Rome singing to Griselda helps get him a larger audience, and I'd love an Alc stimulus package in the form of an EP at least. And I hope it helps put more people on to Rigz and Mooch...but especially Rigz.
