He's right most dems have move so far to the right that's why both parties are trash now President Obama was on that republican lite shyt also sometimes.
Democrats have moved more moderate. I think that was by design after years of Bush. Anything slightly left was considered far left and progressive. Obama was always very moderate on social and economic issues.

Problem is Republicans will call any version of Democrats commies. And nah Obama was to the left of Bill. Hillary was to the right of Obama and lost to this buffoon. The base is more lefty than ever before imo.

Fair points. I think the overall look has changed with the strong push on Climate Change/Reform/Regulations, LGBTQ reform, and Obama's anti-drug crime reform. Dems seem to be more pro Military now than the late 90s early 2000s, but I imagine a lot of that has to do with Obama.

Thinking deeper, you're probably right. People who identify as democrats are probably a lot more left than in the past. I feel like the actions of senators and congressman seem to be very moderate. That's just a feel though, I should probably take a look at their voting trends.
