Yes it has breh several cuts still get spins to this day. I'd say Headlines hasn't aged well other than that album is still fresh. Which classic album from this gen gets as much burn or has the replay value of TC in 2015? None.TC hasnt aged very well either though.

GKMC for starters. Which was released a year after TC but stillYes it has breh several cuts still get spins to this day. I'd say Headlines hasn't aged well other than that album is still fresh. Which classic album from this gen gets as much burn or has the replay value of TC in 2015? None.
Take Care is 4 mics, 8-8.5 out of 10 and a era defining album.
7 out of 10 is appropriate for average albums like a Dreams & Nightmares or some shyt not a "really good" album like TC.
GKMC having higher replay value than TC is laughable. I give GKMC 4.5 Mics by the way. I told you before how I feel about MBDTF. It's not better than TC IMO not a top 3 Ye album, one of the most overrated albums ever. TC is better than SFG, I still hear TC singles at parties, on radio and in whips from time to time moreso than any supposed classic from the 2010's.GKMC for starters. Which was released a year after TC but still
Also, I don't think D&NM is a 7. I give that a 5.5 or so.
The reason TML can't be a 7.5 is because TC is such a big step above TML. and if TC is 8.5 then an album vastly superior to that such Asa's GKMC would have to be labeled a perfect album aka 10/10 but it's not.
I give TML a 6.5 TC a 7 and SFG an 8/10.
I don't hear TC Anywhere so I don't know about the "burn" and replay value as well because it's not an easy album to get through. But still good for it's time.
I don't think it was the world changer your thought it was. Just a very good album that avoided the sophomore slump. But it wasn't that amazing.
Giving that album an 8.5 takes away from albums that are actual classics like GKMC and MBDTF.

I said this is where hip hop will be in 4 or 5 years maybe less. Joints were kinda reminiscent of Little Brothers and theres definitely that Phonte influence but he rapped with a combination of skill, wordplay and emotion few were able to really come together with without soundy overly whiney or cheesy and he appealed to a female demographic that was somewhat underserved. Are they true classics, not quite but I would give both projects a solid 4 mics.
nikka was HANGRY then
his best album or mixtape ever
