Didn't imply you said anything. I got that from looking up this 'fuse'.

I root every Android device I own so having this weird issue makes me not want to buy the Nexus. :manny: That leaves the dozens of other Android devices out there, woe is me.
i didnt say that breh

i think mainly voiding the warranty

Pure speculation leads me to believe that they'd only do this for a few reasons:
  • Void warranty if a user sends in a phone that was previously rooted phone for service. Will be interesting to see how they handle this if that's the case. Will they say root = void, or will they just use that point to analyze what's wrong.
  • Android Pay. Now that they're going mainstream, maybe Android Pay is going to be locked down. Would make sense to a certain extent as card issuers are going to be on the hook for more shyt in the future.

Would be nice to have some official word from Google on this shyt but.... I'm probably still hitting that "fastboot OEM unlock" before I really set the phone up :yeshrug:

Without a question, that's the first thing I do after I verify the phone works :heh: I don't even waste time installing stuff for the most part.

1. qfuse is not new, it's been around in many devices.
2. Google has nothing to do with it, it's a hardware "fuse".
3. your warranty is not voided by a unlocked boot-loader.
