Lmao a lot of the time the guys that voice the highlights just voice it from home so that might be why they sound so lethargic. We got about 5 different voice over guys and it all depends on their style. I personally like when they come in and record from the booth because you get to coordinate with them more, like the guy that was in yesterday was throwing mad ad-libs in my script which made it better to listen to.
I thought about it but it felt weird since I was actually working with her on a highlight. Truth be told I didn't know that she was coming in last night, the guy that voiced the NBA highlights told me that we were gonna have someone new voice the WNBA game... then she showed up lol.
I don't know how often she'll be in the studio since she's still gonna be reporting the games but I'll try and see what I can do next time she's in... might have her hold up a sign saying "Spokesman of the GOAT Squad" or somethin
I like it a lot, I orginally worked up with NBA Entertainment in Secaucus, NJ and got transferred down here in Atlanta. Turner's really big like a campus, there's about 5 buildings in all and each one of them is for a different station or department. I work in the building that contains the NBATV and TNT studios as well as The Starters
I originally started out as a logger/editor of the games for NBATV but now I'm mostly producing content for the website. Although I've gotten used to it it's still a little wild to consider guys like Shaq and Barkley my co-workers; like I'll walk into the break room and you might find Chris Webber and KG arguing about some shyt lol
As for Ros she was really dressed down (understandable since she wasn't being in front of the camera) but that was part of her charm to me. She did have on some makeup but she's naturally pretty; like in an around the way girl type. Very playful and down to earth, if I didn't know who she was already I would've never guessed she was a big TV personality
