Double Burger goes in with that sample. I liked how he used it. Is that a Rhodes piano sample or self played? Either way good usage of it.

Gibbs I fukk with yours .
It bops..I like the grainy vinyl over the beat..just wish it had more bottom.

both beats were dope. Tommy beat made a nikka wanna spit and Dbl beat had me wanting to vibe lol.

Good battle, but Dbl took this one. That beat is too clean and that shyt is ready made for an artist. Good use of the vocal sample too.

This is a good battle. Tommy on the boombap and DBWC on the Soul-Trap. I see the good qualities in both of these beats. Both seem geared for an artist as well

@Double Burger With Cheese The use of the sample is dope. When the 808 hits this is incredible. When you drop out the low 808 the kick is a little weaker and lacks punch. The hi-hats seem to stick at one velocity The track itself is put together nicely. If you lower the sample just a little bit the drums will punch a little more and will give the track a little more edge.

@Tommy Gibbs - That snare bangs, and the sub-bass definitely works. Its simple and it definitely works for an artist. None of these beats seem like battle beats but both are great records for songs. Since both are more of a song format I felt that Tommy Gibbs production is the cleaner one. So Tommy gets my vote for the round. But this battle is a good one, and I'm sure you two will match up again at some point

Good work both of you.

Nice flip from Double Burger With Cheese. Nice percussion in there.

Def Tommy for me, sounded like something from Dilla's stash for Jaylib.

Another fire battle, both joints need some bars attached as they are that good. If I believe DBWC edged this one out. There hasn't been an easy battle to vote on yet:francis:. Iv been listening to beats non stop in whatever capacity since this morning.

Both beats absolutely fire, my type of shyt.

I had to go for double burger because I can vibe to this shyt on its own and it'll get caught in my head... Its a head bopper for sure. 808s hit nice and the vocal chopps mad catchy.

Gibbs beat is also crazy, it's begging for an mc to rip this track up. I usually prefer deeper basslines but actually this high pitched bassline really works for me, it kind of leaves u wanting to hear more and so does the vocal sample.

For me I had to with double burger just off the strength that I can listen to it and be content with the beat as it is. Both beats were kind of simple but this track here is where simplicity works at its best.. I feel like the beat doesn't need really much else.

When I listen to gibbs beat I can't help thinking that some more complex drum work or added layers to the samples or sfx would complete the track... Or actually if there was jus a transition that kept things interesting, that might have tipped it in his favour.

Great work from both for real.

Good shyt y'all. I like the sample chop on double burgers joint, but Gibbs' beat felt more complete and I like Gibb's style on his beat. beat was clean and I really like the baseline.
