Both are dope and VERY soulful. Similar styles even I almost screamed FOUL on @Maharishi beat until he faded out that ashanti vocal in a very creative way
maharishi beat is probably the more creative as always but then cleanliness and mix of @Chubbs beat gets the vote for me
I didn't really get a soulful vibe from either beat, although both were dope. Mah beat was on some chill shyt and Chubbs beat had that 80's sitcom vibe.
Chubbs took it, better melody and that mix is super clean.
This had to be the best Battle of this round so far
@Maharishi have you seen Samurai Champloo? After the vocal faded out the track gave me those vibes.
@Chubbs Yo this had a church vibe to it a little bit, based off of the cleanliness of the mix and the vibes, it's other worldly bro
My vote goes to Chubbs on this one.
This is definitely the cleanest battle this tournament. I knew when I saw these 2 names paired together I expected something great and you all delivered
props all around.
Maharishi dope as always. Love the vibe and how the vocals faded out.
Chubbs surprised me after that 21/Offset type beat he did last round. I was expecting a trap beat. Totally different sound but nailed it once again. Super clean. It gets my vote.
Chubbs, I was expecting Carl Thomas or Music Soulchild to pop up on that piece, def one of the front runners for best beat of the tourney so far
Maharishi, I could tell was dope, but I couldnt get the full deliverance until the vocals faded out, beat was creative as hell and the laid the theme for a plush setting.
