Both of these tracks hit
@O Fenômeno
This track is amazing, and the arrangement is solid! The Mix the drums a little better and you have a track perfect for Rick James in his prime!
Some of the leads, also bled into the mix which doesn't bode well for the ears. But the Track itself is a great one that when you fix those few things this will be incredible.

@DJ Mart-Kos

This is well done. The only thing, and I mean the only thing with this is its a tad loud overall. Your drums punch, The vibe is soulful, and you really provide an emotion with the track. If you turn down the overall volume of the track you have something.

I don't care if a track is short. It sounds good or it doesn't. It hits or it doesn't.

My vote for this round goes to @DJ Mart-Kos

The difference in my vote had to do with the drum and melody mix of @O Fenômeno and while the overall loudness of @DJ Mart-Kos took away from it in some instances, I can turn volume down.
But if you turn down an improper mix, nothing changes.

So it came down to mixing

Great battle/showcase both of you.

Yea I've been in my 80s bag alot recently.

I got a Roland D10 and a Yamahas TX81Z sound rack..(basically a DX7/100 sound rack) and some linn and overheim dmx drum samples and such...mpc live comes with those and all the 808,909,707 etc samples .

It may be time to get some monitors for mixing.

Oh dope! Yeah a lot of your new tracks have the 80's sound which is dope! if you're in the market for studio monitors Checkout the KRK Rokit 6's.

I just voted for DJ Mart. Have to say this was a great competition right here both great c&arranged well. The difference maker for me is the quality of the drums and mart hit that mark.

congrats to both. Can’t say enough how much everyone has leveled up.
