I went with Unkown Hype becuase his track has a more low frequency style which I prefer, its just easier on the ears ... I like how he filtered that sample, he could have easily left that sample in unfiltered but he knew what sound would have worked for that track.

Cory ... his track is crazy technically ... I think he might be one of the top technicians in here but I felt like there was too much going on in his track ... or if he mixed it different and put the main melodys and sounds down lower, then it might have been easier to listen to.

Dope fukking battle.

but seriously, I love the drum work on Cory track cause it’s a lil staggered and much different and that’s how I like to bring it as well.

I noticed the ghostly lingering down pitched hats as well, I got a track with some of that in there. I like the way you think.

I’m typing this as the beat playing and it’s growing/progressing very nice. Classy ass beat. Solid wrap up on the outro as well.


The Drift got knock on it and I rock with that as a bass drummer.

The sample that played took me back to adult swim cut scenes/commercials. There was a sample that played on one of them that was very very similar to the one you used except it’s a little faster but it’s nearly the exact *ahhhh mmmm mmm mmmm* sound.

The chill atmosphere is my vibe I freestyled to the entire track. When I talk about orchestral and drum set arrangement to other producers in the tunnel this track hits on what I mean by that. The kick isn’t main focus but you know it’s on the scene. It plays IT’s part if that makes sense. Sample could be a lil louder. Play with some automation.

Both had lofi-ish background melodies that were done really well so it comes to the drums and feel for me.

I have to go with Cory on that.

There is a reason this one is currently tied. These both fly for different reasons. And while I won't vote yet. I'll give my analysis as to why I believe this is tied.

@The Unknown Hype has an excellent mix. So it stands out very well. The thing that pushes it back sound choice as it relates to the drum sounds. I think even a switch of the snare sound would make all the difference for the record.

@901Cory10 This is an excellently produced record. The drums smack and the sound choice is awesome. The melodic lines are in a higher frequency which where's on the ears, but the production is so good its difficult to deny it.

There in lies the problem of both tracks flying for different reasons. I do believe though that overall @901Cory10 does enough to get the vote here. For that reason my vote is going to @901Cory10

Unknown had a really chill vibe as background. I like the switch-up.
Nice drums to. Very relaxing.

Cory had a great track to. Nice bounce. The Hi-Hats reverbed/delayed in the background are really cool. Never heard that before. Kinda spooky sounding track.

Overall i liked the vibe on Unknown's track more. Which is why i chose him.

This one is super close. Really depends on what style you rock with more. Both are dope and the mixes are clean. Both killed their vibes too. Real immersive sound

With that said, I voted for Cory. Dude has a way about making chaos sound fukking dope

been going back and forth with this one all week. It just happens to be nice day outside and unknown's hit a bit differently with this climate. Given that this is Michigan and its supposed to snow tomorrow , Cory's would probably hit different on that day. yall both should advance/deserve to move on. If I have to choose then it would be unknown hype. This was my toughest battle to judge as im a fan of both works.
