I'm going to go ahead and vote on this one. It's obvious Mr. Banks didn't come to play this round :hhh:
@franknitty711 oh yeah @JRBMusic is now on here :mjlit: this shyt you dropped is heat as well and formerly welcome to The Tunnel :obama:
we definitely respect your work and see the genius within you all's family endeavors :salute:
but again I think the grizzled battle Vet @producingfire pretty much would have got anybody this round. vote goes to PF

both beats are dope and made well. mixes are clean, samples are dope.

Can't front, getting more chill vibes than soulful vibes with these two beats.

Voted for Jr cuz his beat was the closest thing to what I envision when I hear soulful beat.

Coming back to this one..

PF edged it out. I liked what breh did with the vocal samples (that Lionel Richie in there is cold:whoo:). Chopping/and layering vocal samples is an underrated art as well, its not easy to get those to fit.

Now I will say I enjoyed JRB's beat heavily, sonically its very nice. It would have won me over completely with a vocal sample from Larry or Charles up in that piece :mjcry:

I had to go with ProducingFire because he just freaked the samples more

When that Lionel sample came in I was like WTF ... he used a lot of dope sounds and layers of samples.

I actually felt the vibe of JRB track more but its biased cos that Float On track is one of my all time fav soul songs. You chopped this beautifully btw my bro.

ProducingFires shyt just had more layers and shyt to unravel

I missed checking out the 1st three rounds, so nice to come in and see that a Soul Sample round is going off....my favoured genre.
Both these are dope, but going with @producingfire for the vote. Exactly the vibe I like...
