I like Randy, but he is watered down from the PG era. He can be a sadistic son of a bytch, which is what he is best at. I mean I can easily see him physically beating Stephenie repeatedly with a chair, and laughing about it. Naturally though that won't happen. 
I never card for Orton or understood the hype for him. Always thought he was bland and boring. He can wrestle a decent match but has less charisma and personality than one of Jim Duggans 2x4's.

Not that great on the mic and lacks charisma. He's best at the sadistic psycho stuff because of this. Don't hate him, but nothing draws me to his character or matches...

As a heel, yes - especially a chicken shyt one that oversells. That's when I find him very enjoyable. When he chooses to be 'on' he's pretty damn good (see Raw match with D-Bry last month.) Dislike him as face though, too lifeless/robotic.

To me, Randy is a victim of the times because he has a menacing look and he has shown that he can be vicious.... but how is a heel supposed to get heat without doing any heel shyt? All heels (including Randy) do in the E is just try to avoid wrestling in matches. That's it. They don't do any dirty lowdown shyt to really fukk with the babyfaces' lives like that.
Randy just beat up John's dad in the front row... why didnt he break his arm?
He went into the room where Brie Bella was to scare Daniel Bryan... why didn't he kidnap her?
If Randy is THE bad guy in 2014 he should be doing shyt like beating up announcers, screwing people over, ruining midcarders lives, getting unfair advantages ON THE REGULAR and always having Stephanie cover for him.

I loved his legend killer gimmick. I was kinda hoping that if Sting signed to the E he would stay around for a while and feud with Orton, of course job to Orton in at least one match so Orton can add another legend to his lists of legends he defeated
