WHen you're a seven footer that can tie his laces without tipping over you can pretty much get damn near anything out of some of these GM's out there.

Exhibit a:

Mark Blount - That clown had a contract paying him over 25 million the last 3 years of the contract If i'm not mistaken:laugh:
The geniuses that were the Celtics front office

lets be real here about his paint presence is not that dominant

i mean he blocks shots good but as far as him just controlling the paint i dont see it

like today 16 pts and 4 rbs and the heat have no center

Big men always get overpaid nowadays. Look at javale mc gee contract this past summer.

Right now he's worth it just for his defense alone. Without him in the lineup Pacers aren't #1 D in the league. He is under performing stat wise so far this season but his presence in the lineup is still huge

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
javale mcgee is getting paid 11 mill a year and hes not even a starter, dude plays like 18 minutes a game.

roy hibbert is not really overpaid, centers get the big bucks.

basically every playoff team is paying a center like 9-12 mill

no he not stop his defense is not the main reason the pacers are #1 in defense

they play as a team thats why he supposed to be the anchor of the paint and he is not

george and west are a few percentage points from averaging 8 rbs a game

I didnt say he was the main reason but I did say without him they aren't top in the league. The game he was just suspended against The Clippers they scored 50 points in the paint. That don't happen with Hibbert. His effect on d isn't something you can just look at the box score and get a tangible measurement from
