Highly doubt it: Dwayne Johnson adds another action movie to his work load

Dwayne Johnson has to be one of the hardest working men in Hollywood at the moment, and probably one of the nicest too. With films like the Baywatch remake, Moana, Rampage, an eighth Fast and Furious movie and Shazam sometime in the future, Johnson has added a untitled action film to his growing roster.

The planned film will be an action-comedy (of course), and will be in the same tone as Lethal Weapon, Midnight Run and 48 Hours etc. Will Gluck will direct the film and Dave Callaham (The Expendables) will write the script.

That’s about all we have on the film, but we’re guessing that this one’s a way off. Johnson will next be seen in the action/ comedy Central Intelligence, which hits cinemas next year.
