Royce is a cornball rapppity rapper who got outrapped by simple mistah FAB bars, he's just one of many rappers in this world, he's not special nor legendary enough, who's opinion on who BDK could outrap or not would hold some value.

Jay don't have Kane's voice, Jay can't flow like Kane, Jay don't have a style like Kane. In Cam's voice: how's the king of NY rocking sandals with jeans and he 42 years old?

Jay is a corporate guy who knows how to borrow shyt and stay in the game, he's got a business mindset and knows how to make money from gullible people.

Still hoping Kane responds directly on wax. He has talked about battling KRS, Rakim and Kool Moe Dee in the past.

Add Eminem, Bun B, Beanie Siegal, Twista to that list as well. Pun and Canibus would have also killed him in 98.

Let's not get crazy with canibus, and he'd probably be scared to go in the booth with pun. Pun would eat him on wax and then smack him with the mic stand

The story goes that Cam'ron, Noreaga and Canibus had recorded their verses for this DJ Clue track and were chilling in the studio waiting for Big Pun. When the Punisher finally did stagger in, dead drunk, he headed straight to the booth, did his verse in one take and walked out, leaving the three other emcees so stunned that they had to rewrite their verses.

Coulda made the point he made without the BDK disrespect. There are many examples of a student besting a teacher or someone becoming a better emcee than someone that influenced em.

I think Royce is itching for that Joe Budden lane. He wants to drop these takes that people are gunna discuss and get heated about and sees a future with that after he's done rapping. He's knowledgeable but he's trying too hard.

He elaborates (and doubles down) on it here, showing Kane even more unwarranted disrespect. Later on he shyts on "Rapper's Delight" too...Lupe tries to educate him on why the old school stuff is fire and important towards the end of the video but I don't know if it stuck, Royce doesn't seem like the brightest fellow, lol.

Here's Lupe trying to talk some sense into this idiot.
