Oh that I'm not sure. I'm assuming it was someone else. X was probably too busy at the time to actually discover new talent without someone bringing them to him.

Yeah. I believe the story is in X autobiography or a really old interview somewhere but before X got on he used to travel through the city battling nikkas. And told the story that when he met mysonne they battled on the 6 train from the first stop to the last stop going verse for verse. And they been cool ever since. X was always in the bronx since Yonkers is right there
On the great depression he had a bunch of bonus freestyles at the end of the cd introducing the bloodline members and then had two bonus songs one with mysonne and one with kasino.
I always wondered why these nikkas was on x first album (big stan, loose cannon and kasino) shouting ruff ryders and all that and then we never hear from them until 3 years later? I feel like it had to be some type of politics/disagreement for x to even attempt to start his own label
