I think also because No Limit’s fall was brutal and surrounded by Murder, Jail, Turmoil etc

Ruff Ryders story was more about the music
No Limit was about the fukkery

This isn't true at all. No Limit got more views because it simply had more moving parts and it had a more unique story. Who releases 23 albums in one year? Every artist had ads in the booklets.

This. And honestly Master P seems to lie and/or put a whole lot of extras. It makes it more entertaining. Dont mean i dont respect him or
No Limits success but just keeping it a buck. But he not the only one of course.

And honestly the casuals only care about X

Also I would factor the like other dude said, the NBA season and also master p is a CEO and an artists.he is more of an household name than the low key owners of ruff Ryder's. Also folks saw no limit as a symbolic region representation thing and see Ruff Ryder's as just another east coast well known record label and see no limit as the underdog .

Most folks grew up with the whole no limit and all the moving parts.as stated already but folks didn't realize the whole background of Ruff Ryder's . They missing out on the entertaining backstory. Folks think it's only a DMX thing but sleep on the entire Ruff Ryder's story background.

Its true tho. I respect his hard work but honestly Swizz is still wack overall :yeshrug:

Like always nepotism runs the world, especially in the entertainment business.
I'm a big fan of Dame Grease and his contribution on max b records. Dame deserve more shine in hip hop production recognnition
Yes Swizz was wack and learning from the other producer who is amazing as well.

However whether folks like his beats or not he does have a catalog of hits or bangers.cant deny that regardless of taste level. I think he has a knack for knowing what can move the crowd for hip hop radio. Also he made himself into brand and didn't play the background as time went along in the industry being in the spotlight.

The infighting partly to blame with the handling of the producers from management.
Just my opinion:hubie:

Can anyone hook a brotha up with a lank for ep 2 n 3?

Man I was anticipating Opposite Of H20 and WATS hard, counted them days as a yung buck. And they didn't deliver. Subpar and mediocre. Generic beats n concepts. Hearing Drag for an entire album was tiresome, he's like the RR Full Blooded/Hound

True, but No Limit's rise AND fall were spectacular and had many moving elements. RR's fall was rather lowkey and went under the radar. The Millers are way more flashy than the Deans too

Right, but how did he brand himself being just a kid straight of high school(?) to that level? Obviously the bolded part is why.

He was given shots & oppurtunities based on that part right there. There's a reason why most RR albums produced
by Swizz sounds outdated (or wack to some) in production (ie. Opposite Of H20 etc).

Swizz went from :comeon: to :ohhh::whoo::win: when he found out those checks were legit

:pachaha:

Man put a whole Benz on his debit card :wow:

Series is great so far. The second ep is damn near a movie in it's own right. I would watch the shyt out of a cable drama with X in Baltimore giving dudes that work, battling Hov in a pool hall and the Irv and Lyor audition.
