NJPW shows are a year old by the time they air. ROH has been reletively terrible outside of a few ppvs for a good while now.

Agree to disagree,......

As njpw is still better than what you get from any of the other promotions week to week with dated material.
Roh has been excellent, and I have enjoyed every era of the show.
except for the first initial wwe and tna era raid of bryan and Nigel when Cornette had the book.

Even in that era I still got the comeuppance of a double as a sports entertainer, tho.

What has sucked has been tna outside of any and everything decay.

So pretty much King Cuerno & Mil Muertes then since those are pretty much who's left depending on how contracts for guys like Drago & Aerostar are set up with Lucha Underground :patrice:

The product is still lit for me - but the behind the scenes stuff seems to be clouding some of the potential. (Letting Pentgon or Puma wreck shyt on Impact would be great marketing, the PWG crossovers stay jumpin)

I think Netflix, the rest of S3 and some well scouted talent will be the sun that shines through.

You guys need to understand that this deal has very little to do with LU. The deal is between AAA and Anthem. LU has a similar deal with AAA so they can use their talent, but some of them appear as different characters. Those LU original characters (like Mil Muertes for instance) are the ones LU doesn't want the wrestlers to portray on Impact. Ricochet can bytch all he want but he needs to understand too that LU didn't make this call.

Lucha Underground lost a lot of its good will with that fukking break.

I went from wanting more, to wanting the company to die.

They did absolutely nothing to capitalize off the Netflix deal, and they're holding the careers of great wrestlers hostage.

Way to show how little respect they have for the very same people that made the promotion.

The Netflix deal provided them with a cash flow so they can make future seasons possible as the promotion was bleeding money and only survived because El Rey strongly supports the show. The mid-season break was a necessary evil to make that deal happen. It sucks that some guys on the roster became a victim because of this, but that's what it is. :yeshrug:

And you can complain about LU playing hardball with its talent but they had to because the pro wrestling world is a cutthroat biz and WWE would've sucked their talent pool completely dry if they didn't put in some of these hated clauses.
